Provocateur Bas Darkfrost is a loyal subject of the Dain and is known in Thurgadin as a Master Spy and Assassin. His work revolves around slowing down the Kromzek of Kael Drakkel on their own turf. This agent provocateur is willing to give trusted adventurers assignments for espionage missions. The new solo missions will test the patience and cunning of any player. Avoid being spotted by the lumbering Kromzek as you poison, dehabilitate and distract them within Iceshard Keep . Dispatch their officers to aid in Kael's confusion. Game Update 60 (The Children of War) will go live tomorrow, bringing all servers offline for a 3 hour patch. U.S. servers will come down at 7am PDT and the Splitpaw server will come down at 3pm London Time. Patch notes will be available on our GU60 page once they are released. Sony Online Entertainment just announced that it will be providing a complimentary 12 month identity protection program through Affinion International Limited for its eligible Station Account holders in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, and Germany. At 7am PDT on Thursday, May 19 all SOE login servers, forum account access and more will be unavailable during a 2 hour maintenance. Here is the official announcement: Beginning at 7 AM PDT on Thursday May 19, 2011, the Login Server, SOE Account and Commerce flow and the Station Store will be unavailable due to maintenance. We expect this maintenance to take approximately 2 hours. This may also cause some forum accounts to temporarily lose permissions, due to the inability to verify account status while the maintenance is taking place. This is only temporary and normal permissions will return automatically once the maintenance is complete. We apologize for this interruption and will resume all affected services as soon as the maintenance is completed. Registration for Sony Online Entertainment's 2011 Fan Faire has finally re-opened! The Fan Faire will run from July 7th - 9th at Bally's Las Vegas. Events include developer panels, tournaments, live quests and much more. This year registrants have the choice between a Friday only, Saturday only or an All-Access pass for the entire weekend. The All-Access pass includes digital copies of EverQuest and EverQuest II's next expansion pack, special in-game items and access to special evening events at Fan Faire. All three types of passes include access to the showroom and developer panels, gift bags and daytime events. Sony Online Entertainment's games have been offline for almost two weeks following a recent attack by hackers , and we're all anxiously awaiting any news regarding the status of the company's services. While it doesn't give an estimated date for when the games will be live, SOE's latest update outlines its"Make Good"program and unveils its complimentary Debix“AllClear ID PLUS” identity theft protection program in the United States. As previously announced, all impacted players will receive 30 days of game time added to the end of the current billing cycle in addition to one day for each day the system is down.
